Pacifico Energy Vietnam has launched offshore technical survey campaigns for two projects with a combined capacity of 1.8 GW, following survey licence approvals from Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
Working with PTSC, the company will conduct geophysical surveys for the 500 MW Nam Bo and 1.3 GW Nam Trung Bo 3 projects, marking another step toward project development.
The two projects could attract over US$6 billion in investment, creating potential opportunities across Vietnam’s offshore wind supply chain, from seabed surveys and port logistics to fabrication, construction and O&M.
