The latest GWEC Wind Power Rankings 2025 confirm that Asia-Pacific continues to lead global wind energy growth, with China topping 120,000 MW and India contributing over 6,000 MW of installed capacity.
Southeast Asia is emerging as a key growth region, with Vietnam reaching 506 MW and the Philippines adding 88 MW, signaling accelerating adoption of wind energy technologies across the region. South Korea, Taiwan, and other Asia-Pacific markets are also steadily increasing their wind capacity, highlighting the region’s dynamic renewable energy landscape.
With this momentum, the AWE – ASEAN Wind Energy Expo in Bangkok is the premier platform connecting developers, EPCs, government agencies, associations, and global suppliers, creating opportunities for collaboration, investment, and innovation.
